Once you have successfully registered your interest online and applied for a role with us, our Central Resource Team will contact you to discuss the role and arrange an interview with the onsite team if you meet the relevant criteria for the role applied for. We have put together the following tips to help you on your journey:

  • Arrive 10 minutes early
  • Ask for the Unity representative when you arrive on site
  • Be well presented, a smart casual dress code always works best
  • Be yourself, we offered you the interview for a reason
  • Don’t be afraid to ask questions or admit you need additional support
  • Listen carefully to the interviewer and consider your responses
  • Have your work history ready as well as contact details, NI number, bank details and your proof of ID/eligibility to work in the UK

One of the most important parts of a job interview is when you are given the opportunity to ask questions. This part of the process shows you have a genuine interest in the company and also shows the interviewer that you are very keen to get the job.

Try to think about and prepare questions based on what is important to you in the role so you have all the information you need. Also prepare some questions about the business itself, this is where you can really impress the interviewer and stand out.

The interview is your opportunity to view the site and find out more information about the role you have applied for, this information is key for you to understand if it is the job for you.

Ask questions, view the environment and don’t be afraid to raise any queries you have with the Unity representative onsite.

Once the interview process has finished, the onsite team will inform you about the next steps.
